In 2018, the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development heeded to the UN call and commenced with the&nbsp;<strong>establishment of the very first Femicide Watch in the African continent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AGSA&#8217;s Femicide Watch aims to Prevent femicide through the collection data on incident rates at national, regional then comparing them to global levels. AGSA works with a multitude of different bodies, to work from a human rights perspective. AGSA wants to identify nation and regional laws and policy shortfalls, to undertake changes and preventive measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Are you at risk? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
